The ‘Kenney Beard Memorial Fund’, is a 501(c)(3), Non-Profit Organization, and is most notable for hosting the ‘Kenney Beard Memorial Car Show’. The mission of the Kenney Beard Memorial Fund is to raise Suicide Awareness and Mental Health Awareness in the community; as well as raise money for the LOSS (Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors) Team, through our annual car show and its concurrent events such as the silent auction, 50/50 raffles, vendor sales, and concession stand sales. 

       We started the Kenney Beard Memorial Car Show in 2012 after the death of our beloved family member, Kenney Joe Beard Sr. Kenney died October 3rd, 2012 by means of Suicide. Shortly after his death our family got together with the sole purpose of figuring out a way to keep his memory alive. Anyone who knew Kenney, knew that that was three things he loved above anything else… God, his family, and cars. Kenney owned a 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T that was known far and wide, as the “Vanishing Point” Tribute Car. He could always be seen at various car shows and events; and was an active member in the DFWLX Car Club. Thus, the idea to host an annual car show in order to commemorate Kenney, was born. The first show was in November 2012 and was hosted by the DFWLX Club, every year since then, the Beard family has put together and hosted this event. Since its conception in October 2012 and its official incorporation in June 2018, the Kenney Beard Memorial Fund has kept two things in mind, to keep Kenney’s memory alive and to help the organization, who not only helped our family, but also helps other Survivors of Suicide in our community… the Tarrant County LOSS Team.  

       Each year we hope to make this event larger, by engaging a larger audience of car enthusiasts, and in doing so raise more money for the Tarrant County LOSS Team and continue our family's tradition of giving back to them so they can help more families just like us. To date, we have raised over $10,000 for the LOSS Team and hope the number may grow exponentially from here.
